Suri pointed out that this is the year His Highness Shaikh Mohammad [Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces] visited India as the chief guest on India’s Republic Day, also how the historic visit of Prime Minister [Narendra] Modi [to the UAE] in August 2015gained further momentum between the India and UAE. Joy Thomas John the honorary president of the ISC stated that from the year 1967; Indian Social and Cultural Centre (ISC) maintained the Indian unity and diversity. He stated there will be an 8th edition of the festival where the 46thanniversary of UAE will be celebrated, he expressed his loyalty and solidarity for such a magnificent nation where people from 200 nationalities living in peace and harmony. The entry ticket used for the three day fest was used as coupon to enter the mega raffle draw where winners could win Chevrolet Aveo car and 500 grams of gold. The draws will be held on March 29, 2018 at the end of ISC golden jubilee celebrations. Based on the same ticket a raffle draw took place on 16th of December where 20 prizes where given away.
