With a focus on entertainment, great players, cricket fans and competitive spirit, MCL will offer an amazing experience to cricket lovers across the globe. A total of six teams will battle for the prestigious MCL Trophy on the grounds of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

MCL is a Twenty20 cricket league was formed by Zafar Shah, Chairman of GM Sports. It is a league of former cricketers, who have contributed to the world of cricket significantly. The first edition of MCL is planned to be played between 26th January and February this year.
In total, six teams will be participated in the league: Libra Legends, Gemini Arabians, Sagittarius Strikers, Virgo Super Kings, Capricorn Commanders and Leo Lions. Prominent players in the league include: Sourav Ganguly, Jacques Kallis, Virender Sehwag, Adam Gilchrist, Graeme Smith, Brett Lee, Paul Collingwood, Brian Lara, Saqlain Mushtaq, and Yasir Arafat.
